To kick start our season please find attached our second newsletter providing you with all the information regarding the forthcoming season and Open Weekend (3rd & 4th September).

Our Senior Section and Inaugural AGM is on the Saturday and our Junior Open Day on Sunday 4th September marking the start of season with training as outlined below;

For safety, it is important for all junior players to have the following;

· SHINPADS - Hockey shin pads are recommended as they offer better protection than football shin pads.
· FOOTWEAR - Please wear astro shoes instead of regular trainers.
· GUMSHIELD – A good self-fit gum shield from brands like Opro are available from most sports shops. Orthodontists can supply custom mouth guards for those juniors with braces.
· STICKS - We have a large selection of sticks to borrow and our coaches are also happy to provide advice on size and where to purchase.

Registration
If you haven’t already done so, please register on the club website (http://www.southberkshirehockeyclub.org.uk/news/time-to-register-for-the-201617-season-1656945.html) so we have your details and those of your junior players. There is also a form in the attached document if you wish to print, complete and bring along on the day.
