Bracknell finished off their away campaign with a victory over Phoenix & Ranelagh and completed the double over their opponents in the process. It was a far from vintage performance from Bracknell but the still had too much quality for their opponents. In the first half, Phoenix took the game to the away side and had the lion's share of possession; however, Bracknell were more ruthless with rare attacks resulting in goals. First, Richard Jones struck after a short corner attempt, and soon after Alex Light was played clean through on goal and produced an uncharacteristically deft, subtle finish to double the advantage. The second half followed a similar pattern with Phoenix doing all the pressing. Bracknell quickly made it 3-0 through Jones to complete yet another brace. Late on, the home team finally got on the scoresheet. A mistake from the Bracknell captain allowed a cross to be fired in which was brilliantly deflected into the top corner. This did not interrupt Bracknell's march to victory however as they simply went down the other end to restore their three goal advantage: Jake Bullock, setting up Tom Scott for his 17th goal of the season. Bracknell, who's season finishes with a home game against promotion chasing Marlow, can be happy with their season.
