L2s vs Reading 4s (Friendly)

On the 19th of September, South Berks Ladies 2s played a friendly match against Reading 4s.
In the first half, Maddison Scott and Helena Badger each scored - Scotty from open play, and Billy from a short corner. South Berkshire controlled the first half throughout, with all squad members impressing. In the second half, South Berkshire extended our lead to 3-0 by a goal from Allison Longfield (aka Chitty) which came from some well worked triangle passing up the right. Reading fought back but were fended off by excellent defending from our back line and from Aneesa in goal. They eventually scored one, leaving the final score to be 3-1. Player of the game was Billy Badger for both her goal and her reliable play in the middle of the park. The team are looking forward to taking the positives from today into their first league game next week!
