After the half time team talk where coach Tim Metcalfe, tried to instil some fight back into the Bracknell team, they set off with new vigour, but alas it wasn’t until the 4th goal went in that Bracknell decided to play with conviction as they knew they could. By pressing hard, chasing and working for each other in the last 20min of the game, Bracknell held possession and looked as if they wanted to score, with a few half chances going to several players but heartbreakingly no goal.
Man of the match went jointly to Yellie Powley for giving the attack extra bite after her welcome return from a broken rib, and Alison Eatwell whose terrier like performance in a number of positions inspired the team to raise their game.
