Bracknell Ladies 1's v Reading 2A's won 3 - 0

A goal in the first half by Gemm McLean after a well worked penalty corner settled the team and they began to apply pressure on Reading 2A’s. A penalty flick was awarded to Bracknell nearer the latter end of the half, but was unfortunately saved by the keeper from Becky Peatfield's attempt.

After the break Bracknell continued to play well and Alison Eatwell converted a penalty flick after Kelly Lockyer’s shot had been blocked on the line by a Reading foot. The defence continued to deny Reading any opportunity to play possession hockey with Katie Oliver putting in a man of the match performance through excellent covering and decision making.

The win was capped off with a goal from Caz Apsey in the last 10 minutes, after skilful play from Captain Marcia Clapson. Bracknell now hope to continue with their winning ways!
