Bracknell ladies v Gerard's cross. 2-0

Bracknell Ladies II traveled to Gerrards Cross on Saturday morning and were excited despite the wet weather. The Bracknell support was on the side line and in fine form despite the downpour. Bracknell Ladies started strong and pressurized the opposition from the outset. However it was almost 30 mins before Bracknell opened the score sheet with a cracking shot from Yellie which whizzed past the keeper into the back of the net.

Gerrards Cross Ladies pushed back at Bracknell and pushed up into our 25 however our defense was strong and they were denied any goals. By half time the score stood at Gerrards Cross 0 - Bracknell Ladies 1. Despite the positive score line Bracknell felt they could score more goals and were determined to increase the score line, however Gerrards Cross started the second half with determination too and pressurized the defense. Once again the Bracknell defense kept the opposition at bay.

Bracknell's determination was well rewarded 15 mins into the second half with another goal from Yellie. The play was fierce and physical at times with both teams trying their best to get goals. However Bracknell maintained the score line and the game finished with 2 goals to Bracknell and none to the opposition.
Bracknell Ladies II now lie 4th in the league.
