Ladies II League Season Gets Underway

Accurate passing swiftly took the game into their attacking half and soon a nail biting short corner was awarded. Narrowly missing the backboard, the determination for a point remained as further goal scoring opportunities arose throughout the first half and any central counter-attacks were rapidly deflected by Kelly Leversuch Roberts.

Bursting into play after half time, both Zoe Yates and Bryony Woods used their speed to outran the opposition before taking strikes towards goal. Following a run and a well executed dodge around three defenders, Bryony Woods hit the target and Bracknell II's took the lead. They fought hard to maintain this with Maya Mahal and Sarah Collis consistently holding off the opposition down the sidelines. Unfortunately, Wycombe broke away and scored an equalising goal in the last few minutes that Bracknell II's couldn't quite react to; ending the game on one all.

Kelly earned star of the game this week while Wally was unanimously awarded to Zoe because she's always doing something that deserves the nomination!
