Bracknell Ladies II's took a short moment to gain their stride against a tough side. However, clear communication from Libby Mounds soon helped to curb those nerves and everyone demonstrated their attacking play.
This was quickly shown by Izzy Britton sending some great passes to junior player, Jodie Shilley who tried to use her speed and agility to avoid the tightly defending opposition.
Wallingford 3's soon reacted to the pressure although that was no match for Jo Stringer and Kayleigh Penfold-Welch who worked relentlessly together to hold them away from the centre of the pitch.
After some fantastic saves from the keeper, Jo Cook, a goal was conceded at the end of the first half.
Within the opening minutes of the second half, Bracknell Ladies II's were in the attacking D and a superb strike from Claire Woods narrowly missed the goal.
Excellent work rate from the entire team was finally rewarded by a short corner that could have provided an equaliser but was held off by the opposition once again just before the final whistle.
Kayleigh was awarded star of the match for her continuous running against a particularly quick opponent whereas Nikki gained Wally for just being her usual, forgetful self!
