In the first 20minutes Bracknell performed well, holding their own and determined to keep possession of the ball. A quick breakaway down the right hand side saw Bracknell's defence slightly short of manpower and a goal was conceded. However some accurate passing between Janine Moorby and Phoebe Schoefield enabled the ball to be pushed up the pitch to try to gain the point back, with no such luck.
Following a positive team talk, the whole team's confidence was boosted and they proceeded to gain a short corner at the beginning of the second half.
As the match continued, a few attacks up the pitch looked promising but Bracknell couldn't quite make the final touch. Alongside the constant battle through midfield and defence, Jo Cook also resorted to diving across the mouth of the goal. However on one occasion, the ball was narrowly missed as it slipped past.
Unfortunately this was shortly followed by another spectacular goal, from a deflection off the stick that took the goal difference to three just before the final whistle.
This week it was a double award for Libby Mound who claimed; Star for all the helpful pointers and high work rate as well as wally for the perfect deflection into her own goal!
