Today Bracknell set out with high hopes and a lot of extra energy due to the longer than usual break from playing , we opted to play into the wind for the first half which proved to be our advantage as we quickly scored off some excellent passing between Kelly Hancock and Maria Russo who popped it over to Lisa Cameron and she stuck it in the back of the net.

In the remainder of the first half we tried again to score with very good passing between Maya Mahal , Janine Moorby Rachel Holmes and Nadia Striklaw keep the ball out of our 25 due to some excellent defensive play from Libby Mound , Jane Theodoulu and Anna Fenwick , it saw us end the first half with a lead.

the second half began just as well but Wallingford got a very lucky one past Becca Yeomans who tried to do a one man stop after out goal keeper Jo Cook went down but Wallingsfords pace was far to quick and it skimmed past her . The rest of the match was played with gusto where Steph Newton and Fi Lewis kept the ball out of the middle of the pitch and off to the sides where Wallingford could not get it into our danger Zone, we had some excellent goal keeping from our keeper Jo Cook who was diving all over the place to keep the attack at bay and made some of the best saves we have seen so far.
