Bracknell threatened the Reading D within minutes from the off, but failed to put a goal past the Reading defence. Despite Reading topping the Div 2 table, Bracknell held them to 1-0 at half time. With the home goal flattering a weakened Reading side.

Bracknell lost their focus early in the second half and conceeed 2 goals in under 10 minutes. As Bracknell settled into the second half they demonstrated some great hockey, but failed to capitalise with a goal. Two further goals on the break, saw Reading kill off the game. With both Charlie Clark (girl of the game) and Rachel Whittle (GK) providing some fantastic defensive play, the scoreline proved disappointing. Bracknell look forward from todays game, with 6 games remaining of the season.
