Bracknell started well and kept their formation, despite a lot of pressure from the opposition. Joy Westlake took an early injury but managed to continue playing as Bracknell had no substitutes. The game was very much end to end, with both sides looking to score. Despite this it remained nil nil at half time.
The second half started frantically with both sides wanting the valuable 3 points. The Bracknell defence, directed by their captain Rebecca Yeomans remained impregnable and held off the mounting pressure from Amersham & Chalfont. As the game drew to a close, Amersham and Chalfont scored a late winner with less than a minute to play. This was another disappointing result for a determined Bracknell side, who are fighting for every point as the season nears its end. Bracknell can take a some consolation from the game, having matched Amersham & Chalfont throughout. Notable performances from the joint girl of the games Jane Theodolou (midfield) and Janine Moorby (defence).
