After what seems like the briefest of summers, Bracknell Men’s 2 ramped up their plans for the start of the new season with their first pre-season friendly against PHC Chiswick

. Missing a number of key players from last season’s promotion winning campaign, and welcoming a couple of debutants, it was perhaps no surprise that Bracknell looked a little out of sorts. There was no shape to the side, and with none of their usual centre backs available, Bracknell played well below their usual tempo. Bracknell were well less than the sum of their parts and despite a uninspiring team performance there were some good individual plays, most notably from Tom Scott who ensured Bracknell the win.
Bracknell will look to their r! emaining two friendlies to get their team performances up to scratch, a task that will be made easier by the anticipated return of a number of key players.
