Scorers: Tom Mitchell (3)Peter Scott (2)Tom Scott (2)Shaun McInnes (2) That's how long it took for the youngster to open the scoring after being set up by older brother Tom. It wasn't immediately obvious that this signalled the opening of the floodgates, since Aylesbury's quick response was to force a save out of Bracknell's goalkeeper, but Aylesbury were flattering to deceive; the Bracknell keeper never touched the ball again in the whole match.Tom Scott made his the second name on the scoresheet, and at two nil, Aylesbury looked a beaten side. A clear gulf in class emerged between the two teams, and Tom Mitchell and Shaun McInnes scored the goals to prove it. Bracknell were four nil up at the break. In the second half another four goals came quickly, with each of the scorers from the first period doubling their tally. Aylesbury had already lost the game, and their misery was compounded when one of their players lost his head. Receiving a yellow card for persistent fouling, as the player walked off the pitch he petulantly threw his stick away. This action was greeted with a red card. Surprisingly, when down to ten Aylesbury actully provided more resistance to the Bracknell offence. However, their resistance eventually faltered and Tom Mitchell scored his hat trick goal. The final whistle was marked by a volley of sky rockets, although all those who had watched the game knew the real fireworks had been on the pitch.
