The Terriers cemented their position at the top of the league with a fine performance against Ashford. Robert Badley opened the scoring from a well worked short corner. The short corner also provided a deserved score for Max Heaver who has strung together an impressive set of performances so far in the second half of the season. All the goals were scored in the first half with the diminutive strike partnership of Alex Fox-Harvey and Peter Scott wading in with a goal each.
Although Bracknell dominated almost as much in the second half , they failed to add to the score line. This was in no small part due to captain Neil Badley s insistence that the team worked on short corner alternatives - this proved a fruitless if not informative exercise.
