Bracknell's development side continued to struggle in terms of results but put in a fine team performance with all the youngsters showing improvement. Their was not helped with a late call up of players to the third team who had in turn provided personal to the seconds who had been called upon to patch up the first team.

Rhys Copland and Alex Fox-Harvey continually found space with intelligent moving off the ball and Dan White and Tom Cunniffe worked hard for the team, Matt Molyneux returned to field after taking a blow to the nose that would later need five stitches. Bracknell did get a wonderfully worked goal that was crafted by the more experienced element of the team with Dave Scott calmly sending the keeper the wrong way from the head of the circle and bending the ball into the far side of the goal.
