South Berkshire Hockey Club is throwing its doors wide open to anyone ready to pick up a stick and get involved. Based at Cantley Park, Wokingham, we offer a friendly atmosphere, strong team spirit, and a commitment to making hockey accessible for all ages and abilities.

South Berks runs a full programme of hockey:

• Junior hockey - age groups from under 8s to under 16s are run weekly through the season, giving your kids all the tools they need for a long and happy career in hockey.

• Adult hockey – players age 13 and up are welcome to play Saturday hockey across a range of teams, offering everything from competitive league action to more relaxed social hockey. Cup hockey takes place on Sundays and offers new experiences, often against teams from across the country!

• Back to hockey sessions - designed for those returning to the sport after time away or trying the sport for the first time as an adult. No cost, no pressure to take up the sport full time, no dark and rainy (hopefully!) training sessions! Back2Hockey starts on Thursday 30th July and runs weekly through to September, all you require are shin pads and a gum shield – bring a stick if you have one!

• Masters hockey – For the experienced amongst us, we have dedicated teams for Over 55s Ladies and Over 60s Men playing Cup and League hockey respectively.

• Walking hockey – It’s hockey, but walking! Have fun, make friends, and play hockey at a comfortable pace!
