12:30 push back, he weather was hailing down, the first of many long trips away. Cold warm up, and nice pre-match from Ryan saying they only had 11 and we had subs up on them, meaning we had a long run advantage. Turns out this wasn't the case and they had 13 as well.

First few minutes of the match we knew we were on top. Quick break, Richie to Mike on the back post...put wide, a few mins later reversal Mike to pass back to Richie intercepted by the keeper. Mike off to a great start! Another break away, Gareth passed to Mike who hit it top D to top bins, realising the frustration on the ball and celebrating like the arrival of the messiah.

Gareth adds the 2nd shortly after with the 3s on top 2-0 at half time. Half time team talk was simple sharpen up the passes and let's put this game to bed.

The second half got underway and the advantage began to pay off as Elliott scored flicking it over the keeper, shortly followed by George tapping it home from a short corner. 4-0 up with plenty of time on the clock to add more.

Unfortunately the opposition saw a gap in our press and scored from it, an unmarked attacker took the ball quickly and slipped it into a man top D. Frustrated by not keeping the clean sheet, this only fired up the travelling side.

Gareth then scored his second followed up with a goal from Ollie F touching it beautifully past the keeper in a short corner. Finally Elliott got his second bouncing the ball off the keepers helmet to secure the 7-1 victory. Plenty of chances going forward most of them executed!

We won't mention the the post match mess up of inputting the score that should have earnt the skipper DoD...
