Pheonix & Ranelagh v Bracknell score 2-1

Phoenix & Ranelagh (2) vs Brd fast putting Bracknell under early pressure. However Bracknell’s defence worked well having now played a number of game under the new formation.With Phoenix and Ranelagh having most of the attacking opportunities in the first half it was against the run of play when Bracknell went one up. The move started with a pass down the line by Rebecca Yeomans, picked up by Steph Newton who crossed the ball to the top of the D where Nicky Johnson was waiting to hammer it into the goal.

The second half started with Phoenix and Ranelagh increasing the pressure and with a number of short corners awarded to the home side it was not long before the score was level at one a piece. The rest of the second half followed much the same pattern with all the attack coming from P&R. The final score 2-1 Phoenix and Ranelagh.
