They started off well with plenty of confidence and made several shots on goal but disappointingly couldn’t get the ball in the net. The defence played strongly with Rebecca Yeomans and Bev Randall sending a number of good hard passes up the pitch for forwards Helen Goodall and Keelee Chalk to pick up but again none resulted in the prize of the first goal.
At half time it was still 0-0 despite most of the possession being Bracknell's. In the second half heads began to drop and the confidence of the first half seemed to falter, giving Phoenix Ranelagh the advantage and allowing them to score. Once the first goal went in, Bracknell lost their formation and failed to pick up their game. PR were allowed to put a further 2 goals past the dejected Bracknell side before the whistle ended the pain. Despite the poor end to the game the team are determined to set matters right next week against Bicester by putting their training into effect and sticking together as a unit.
