Following last week s disappointing performance the Terriers had a collective desire to execute their game plan and play with shape and intensity and for the first ten minutes they gave a display of near perfection leaving Phoenix blown off the park and

Match Report: It was old head Duncan Wigget who collected a hat -trick in this spell binding ten minutes; but it was the whole team that weaved the magic. With a squad of fourteen the rotation of players naturally disturbed the momentum the Terriers started with but within each phase of the game, as players bedded in, the game plan was once more imposed on the opposition. The one goal that Phoenix got was punishment for one of the few times an individual tried to play out of defence individually rather than as a team. Steve Williams restored the three goal margin early in the second half but as a development side it was particularly pleasing how the youngsters stuck to the game plan; in particular Zak Brays
haw and Dan White down the right hand side were impressive and Rhys Ciopland and Tom Cuniffe maintained their improved level of performance.
